Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use HaikuGame, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and username, used to create and authenticate your account

• User-generated content — haikus you write and submit, and the prompts they were written for

• Usage data — votes you cast, streaks, leaderboard activity, and appreciation tokens you send or receive

• Purchase data — your Ink balance, coin balance, owned animations, owned flair, active subscriptions, and feature

access (such as Haiku History). Payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple and we do not receive or store

your payment details.

• Location data — approximate city and country, collected at the time of haiku submission and used solely to power the

local leaderboard. We do not track your location continuously.

• Content reports — if you report a haiku, we record that report to enforce our content policy

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your account

• Display your haikus and username to other users in voting and leaderboard views

• Generate daily haiku prompts using AI (Claude by Anthropic), processed server-side
